SOUTH-WEST UNIVERSITY “NEOFIT RILSKI”
Description of the organisation:
The South-West University “Neofit Rilski” (SWUNR) is one of the five biggest state-own classical universities in Bulgaria. It employs over 800 lecturers including professors, associate professors and assistant professors. They provide modern modes of training following the Bulgarian traditions in education and research on the one hand, and meeting the contemporary European standards in the fields of science, arts and sports, on the other.
The South-West University is a state institution that offers training in Bulgarian and English in 67 Bachelor’s, 86 Master’s and 43 specialized PhD programmes, employ over 800 lecturers including professors, associate professors and assistant professors. They provide modern modes of training following the Bulgarian traditions in education and research on the one hand, and meeting the contemporary European standards in the fields of science, arts and sports, on the other. The University provides board and accommodation in three canteens and two renovated dormitories. Its library possesses over 200 000 volumes, an e-reading room with free access to the data bases of EBSCO Publishing, Science Direct, SCOPUS, Benham Sciece and ProQuest Central. The Career Centre provides quality aid and services to help the South-West University students obtain adequate professional advice as well as support for the university graduates in finding suitable positions at the labour market.
During recent years South-West University “Neofit Rilski”-Blagoevgrad was involved in 36 international and national projects, financed under European Territorial Cooperation Programme “Greece-Bulgaria 2007-2013”, European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (NFM) Scholarship Fund, Seventh Framework Programme, Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci Programme, Lifelong Learning Programme; Sub Programme KA2 – Languages, EU Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education Programme and etc.
There are over 30 laboratories and research centres available at the University. The University implements pro-active international policies involving the cooperation of training and research institutions from all around Europe, the USA, Central Asia and Far East Asia. The University has signed contracts with about 30 universities in Europe under the Erasmus+ mobility program.

Description of the organisation:
Ecosystem Europe Association is an environmental NGO, registered in 2013 in the most economically disadvantaged region in Bulgaria – the Northwest, with network of professionals and partners throughout Europe.
Ecosystem Europe has vast experience and competences in two main areas:
- sustainable development education and entrepreneurship for young people
- responsible tourism, sustainable management of resources in accommodation sector and nature friendly practices in destination management
The organisation has long and profound experience in the sphere of nature protection, sustainable development and responsible tourism. Ecosystem Europe has pioneered many ideas and tried to actively motivate a change in traditional educational paradigms and understanding of sustainable development.
Since 2018, Ecosystem Europe is a member of The One Planet UN network, which is a global multi-stakeholder partnership for sustainable development, generating collective impact through its six programmes: Public Procurement, Buildings and Construction, Tourism, Food Systems, Consumer Information, and Lifestyles and Education.
The mission of Ecosystem Europe is to inspire our society to change towards circular economy, sustainable development and economy which is largely based on natural principles.
Our goals are to:
- supporting young people to think about their future and preparing them to meet the challenges of tomorrow, by stimulating their interest and empowering them in the process of growth and engagement
- encouraging sustainable tourism development, which contributes to environmental protection along the value chain, while considering local and national characteristics

Description of the organisation:
DEKAPLUS is a training and business consulting organisation, primarily focusing on the development of competences and skills of SME management and first-line staff. It was founded in 2006 in Limassol, Cyprus.
DEKAPLUS focuses on the needs of small-medium enterprises (SMEs) to achieve sustainability, aims at sharpening the resources available to SMEs, thus allowing them to obtain their maximum productivity. In addition, DEKAPLUS can mediate for the deployment of any other resources (financial, human, outsourced etc.) in order to facilitate the operations of the SMEs. It offers expertise consulting in specific company operations such as management systems, supply chain, information technology and human resources management. A pool of expert consultants offers practical tools to sharpen low-performance areas or to re-engineer processes. It also provides guidance to new start-ups in locating and accessing funding opportunities and in engaging in networking activities.

Asociatia de Dezvoltare Intercomunitara Harghita
Description of the organisation:
Asociatia de Dezvoltare Intercomunitară Harghita (ADI Harghita) was founded in 2009 at the initiative of the Harghita County Council and it is operating with the support of 50 local administrations with the aim to create and maintain long-term cooperation with the county’s local administrations and organizations working in the field of tourism, carrying out national and international projects, the purpose of which is to improve tourism, as well as maintain culture and the environment. At the same time, the association’s goal is also to protect the environment, popularize the county’s tourism, as well as launching services pertaining to the development of these.
The main activity of the organization is development and popularization of tourism in Harghita County. The organization is charged with the management, maintenance and popularization of the Visit Harghita app and website. This is the only platform that answers all questions a tourist has to know before visiting the county.
The association has made a significant contribution to the preparation of the tourism strategy of the county and is responsible for its implementation. Facilitates access to development possibilities for tourism operators and improves the institutional framework of the sector. Interacts with individual stakeholders – hotels, restaurants, travel companies, decision makers and other businesses in order to attract more tourists. Organizes conferences and participates at fairs and exhibits to strengthen the cooperation between different tourism actors and helps them to promote their services more efficiently and to provide better quality tourist offers. ADI Harghita promotes training opportunities (communication, marketing etc.) for local SME’s to acquire the knowledge of using different tools to attract new customers and offer new and quality services. The team creates publications, contributes to thematic projects (e. g. Mary’s Way), promotes religious and cultural tourism and develops programs and projects in the field of sustainable tourism.

EUROPEAN CLUSTE ALPE ADRIA PANNONIA was founded on 26.09.2014. in Novi Sad, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia Novi Sad, the City of European Youth Capital 2019 and the City of European Capital of Culture 2021/2022
Cluster is a non-governmental non-profit organization with 100 members of legal entities: chambers of commerce, local development agencies, rural development agencies, tourism organizations, colleges and institutes, NGOs, companies, small clusters, cooperatives. The main goal of the cluster is to establish cooperation with European regions, with special emphasis on the Alps-Adriatic-Pannonia, Danube, Adriatic-Ionian and Agri Bio Mediterranean regions.

Instalofi Levante S.L. – FyG Consultores (FYG) is a private educational and training organisation, that promotes the local labour market as well as a lifelong learning process of adults, companies and young people. DIAS VET, is an educational and counselling organization accredited by the Greek National Organisation –EOPPEP. It was founded in 2009 in Greece, and has 3 fully operational offices in the cities of Trikala, Karditsa and Volos. It has 11 full-time staff and 50 part-time trainers / experts.
Our organization is aiming to substantially contribute towards ensuring equal access to knowledge for all parts of society (especially underprivileged young people), to promote sustainability, healthy behaviour and to shape a better future for humans. One of our main objectives is to promote youth entrepreneurship and personal initiative, as we believe this to be the main way to enable people and help them overcome the challenge of rising unemployment.
